Wedding Pictures

This is my Aunt Arlene and my sister coming out of the ceremony. My dad was in the hospital during the weekend. The bride and groom went to visit him after the wedding. Aren't they just the best kids! Dad came home on Sunday and is feeling better now.

The Mr. and Mrs.!
This is my brother, father of the groom.
This is my SIL, mother of the groom.
Here we have my mom in the blue sweater and black skirt. The young girl in the long black dress is my niece, the groom's sister. She was the best-man-person and stood up with him. It was a very pretty wedding.

Oak Creek Elk Feeding Station

We went up to the elk feeding station on Saturday. There were a couple thousand elk up there. There are trucks that drive around and drop off hay for them to eat. It's quite amazing to see the elk all come down the hill in time to eat.

They have started something new since we were there a few years ago. They are now taking people for truck rides, by donation, to get up close to the elk. I think it's a great idea.

Too Much Snow Today

This was at about 2:30pm today. We got between 7 & 8 inches of snow today. There was almost 1/2 inch of ice under the snow. It took forever to get the car and truck warmed up enough to melt the ice.

The one below was about 10:00am this morning.
I have Monday off. My boss just called and said that the preschool is closed tomorrow for everyone, due to the weather.

Superbowl Trophy

This is my dear friend Shelle in Indiana. She and a friend went to have lunch at a hotel restaurant and lookie what they found....... It's the Lombardi Trophy! Isn't that cool? Shelle wanted to take a picture of it and this man said that he'd take her picture holding it.
I'm telling you, Timing is Everything!

More SHow Pictures

This is Daniel and his grandson, Rudy, enjoying the show! Here's Carl working at the balloon shoot area. That's his area and we let him run it.
Here are some archers on the shooting line.

I'm not sure if any of you have ever cooked with dutch ovens, but at the show every year is CW Welch. He is a master of cooking with them. He has his own cooking show on TV and does lots of seminars all over. This is a picture of me, CW's wife, Merle Schuyler (he and his wife put on the show) and CW on the end. They were nice enough to pose for a picture with me.
